      ARTICLE V:  GOVERNING BODY (Continued)      
      5. (Continued)  the floor at the annual meeting.      
      6.  Officers shall be elected from the Board of Directors as follows: President, First Vice President,      
      Second Vice President, Recording Secretary, Correspondence Secretary and Treasurer.      
      7.  The President shall appoint the Chairwomen from the Board of Directors:  Tournament, Rules,      
      Parliamentarian, Publicity, Trophy, Membership, Calendar, Webmaster, and Team Major.  The       
  Home Page   Nominating Committee may recommend these officers.      
      8.  The member club shall replace any board member or representative who fails to attend three (3)      
  Member Clubs   unexcused meetings in a fiscal year after notification from the SMWGA Board.      
      9.  Vacancies among officers shall be selected by the Board of Directors to fill out the unexpired term.      
  Calendar   ARTICLE VI:  DUTIES OF DIRECTORS      
      1.  The President shall preside at all meetings of the Association and the Board of Directors; appoint      
  Officers &    annually, with the approval of the Board of Directors, all committees; be ex-officio a member of all      
    Directors   committees; and perform such other duties as usually devolve upon a President not herein otherwise      
      provided.      
  Membership   2.  The First Vice President shall be the person selected  by the member club next in line to hold the      
    Information   Presidency.  She traditionally will hold the position of Tournament Chair at the discretion of the       
      President.  She may accept and perform the duties of one of the elective or appointed positions if she      
  Team   does not hold the Tournament Chair position.  She shall perform the duties of the President in her       
    Information   absence.  In case of the resignation or death of the President, she shall become President and serve      
      the remainder of that term and then assume the next year's Presidency.      
  Field Days   3.  The Second Vice President shall be a representative of the member club second in line to hold the      
    Information &   Presidency.  She shall perform the duties of the President in the absence of both the President and      
    Winners   First Vice President.  She will also hold the position of Webmaster at the discretion of the President.      
      She may accept and perform the duties of one of the elective or appointed positions if she does not      
  By Laws &   hold the Webmaster position.      
    Standing Rules   4.  The Recording Secretary shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the Association and the Board      
      of Directors; shall perform all other duties pertaining to her office and such others as requested by      
  Minutes   the Board of Directors.      
      5.  The Corresponding Secretary shall carry on the routine correspondence of the Association under       
      the direction of the Board of Directors and perform such other duties as may be requested.  The       
      President shall approve extraordinary correspondence.  She shall send invitations to the annual       
      annual luncheon to all honorary members.      
      6.  The Treasurer shall keep full and accurate accounts of all funds received; shall deposit these       
      funds in the name and to the credit of the Association in such depository as may be designated       
      by the Board of Directors, and shall disburse said funds under their direction.  She shall present at      
      the annual meeting of the Association a written report of the finances and shall make a financial       
      statement at each meeting of the Board of Directors.  It is recommended the Treasurer have access       
      to and be able to operate a computer with the necessary spreadsheet software to maintain the       
      financial records in a consistent, professional manner.      
      7.  The Tournament Chair shall make all arrangements and confirmation with clubs as to dates when       
      events will be held.  She shall have charge of all competitions, in cooperation with the Santa       
      Margarita Representatives of the hostess club.  It is recommended the Tournament Chair have       
      access to and be able to operate a computer with the necessary spreadsheet software to       
      receive and maintain the Field Day and Winners Circle records in a consistent, professional
