      ARTICLE V:  GOVERNING BODY (Continued)    
      7.  The Second Vice President will be seleced by the member club that will chair the President's position 3 years later.  The person     
  HOME   serving in this position will, except under special circumstances, chair the office of the President three (3) years hence.  Each year,    
      she will advance to the next higher office, and in the fourth year, after having served as President, and if eligible, will serve as    
  MEMBER CLUBS   Parliamentarian.    
      8.  The Offices of the Recording Secretary and Treasuerer will be elected from the Board of Directors.    
  CALENDAR   9.  The President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, Recording Secretary, and Treasurer constitute the executive board.    
      10.  The President will appoint the following Chairwomen from the Board of Directors:  Corresponding Secretary, Rules, Parliamentarian,    
  FIELD DAYS   Publicity, Trophy, Membership, Calendar, Webmaster, and Team Major.  The Nominating Committee may recommend these appointees.    
      11.  Upon notification by the SMWGA Board, a member club will replace any board member or representative who has three (3)     
  OFFICERS &   unexcused basences from regular meetings in a calendar year.    
     DIRECTORS   12.  Vacancies for unexpired terms among elected officers will be filled by the Board of Directors.  Vacancies for unexpired terms    
      among appointees will be filled by the President.    
  MEMBERSHIP   ARTICLE VI:  DUTIES OF DIRECTORS    
      1.  The President will preside at all meetings of the Association and the Board of Directors; annually appoint, with the approval of the    
  TEAM   Board of Directors, all committees; be ex-officio a member of all committees; and perform such other duties as usually devolve upon     
      a President not herein otherwise  Provided.  As a representative of all clubs, the President will have no vote on matters of the    
  BYLAWS &   organization unless in the case of a tie.    
  STANDING RULES   2.  The First Vice President will be the person selected  by the member club next in line to hold the Presidency.  Traditionally, she will    
      hold the position of Tournament Chair at the discretion of the President.  She will perform the duties of the President in her absence.    
  MINUTES   President.  She may accept and perform the duties of one of the elective or appointed positions if she    
          A.  If, for any reason, the position of President becomes vacant, she will become interim President and will serve the remainder of    
      that term and then assume the next year's Presidency.    
          B.  If, for any reason, this position becomes vacant, the representative Club will immediately appoint a person to assume the First    
      Vice President's responsibilities and serve as SMWGA President in the following year.    
      3.  The Second Vice President will be the person selected by the member club second in line to hold the Presidency.  She will perform    
      the duties of the President in the absence of both the President and First Vice President.  She may accept and perform the duties of one    
      of the elective or appointed positions.    
          A.  If, for any reason, the position of First Vice President becomes vacant, she will become interim First Vice President and will serve    
      the remainder of that term and then assume the next year's First Vice Presidency.  The position of 2nd Vice President will be filled by    
      appointment from the Club next in the presidential rotation.  She will serve in that position for the unexpired therm and for the following    
      full year.    
          B.  If, for any reason, the position of both the President and First Vice President become vacant, she will serve as interim President    
      until the vacant positions can be filled from among members currently serving on the Board of Directors.    
      4.  The Recording Secretary will keep the minutes of all meetings of the Association and the Board of Directors; will perform all other   
      duties pertaining to her office, and such other duties as requested by the Board of Directors.    
      5.  TheTreasurer will keep full and accurate accounts of all funds received, will deposit these funds in the name and to the credit of    
      the Association in such depository as may be designated by the Board of Directors, and will disburse said fund under their direction.      
      She will present a written report of the finances at the annual meeting of the Association and will provide a financial statement at each    
      meeting of the Board of Directors.  It is recommended that the Treasurer have access to and be able to operate a computer with the     
      necessary spreadsheet software to maintain the financial records in a consistent, professional manner.    
      ARTICLE VII:  DUTIES OF APPOINTEES    
      1.  The Corresponding Secretary will carry on the routine correspondence of the Association under the direction of the Board of    
      Directors and perform such other duties as may be requested.  The President will approve extraordinary correspondence.  She will send    
      invitations to the annual luncheon to all honorary members.
