      COURSE RESPONSIBILITY & CONDUCT - Continued      
      8.  If necessary, a SMWGA team member may request a carry out box for food served at      
      luncheons with her team captain one day in advance of the match.  Her team captain will then      
  Home Page   request this deviation from the norm of the Hostess Captain.  Otherwise, all food must be      
      consumed on the premises of the Hostess Club.      
  Member Clubs   FORMAT      
    & Information   1.  Team play shall be played as scheduled under the Four-Ball Match Play Rule #30, U.S.G.A.

      2.  All team players shall play to current handicaps.  Team players must be placed on the team in      
  Calendar   order of handicap.  Two (2) players within a range of two (2) strokes handicap may be trans-      
      posed at the discretion of the team captain.  The order of play of golfers within the same handicap      
  Officers &   range may be positioned also by the team captain.  If there are fewer team members available      
    Directors   than a full team complement, the team captain shall decide who will play alone.    
      3.  The team captain or her designated representative is expected to play each match.      
  Membership   4.  If a team player is delayed, her partner shall commence play against the opposing team and    
    Information   play alone until her partner arrives.  If the player with the lowest handicap is unable to play, the      
      handicaps of the three (3) players shall be reduced by the handicap of the absent player      
  Team   (Decisions on the Rules of Golf #30-3a-3).  Any change in the line-up must be completed 15      
    Information   minutes before assigned tee times.      
  Eligibility List   5.  Concessions of a putt must be loud and clear and may not be recalled or declined.      
      6.  Teams must settle disputes before any play from the next tee.  If a dispute cannot be settled      
  By Laws &   before teeing off on the next tee without undue delay, one of the teams may make a claim.      
    Standing Rules   The team wishing to make a claim must announce clearly that a claim is being made and the reason      
      for the claim.  At an appropriate time, prior to signing the final game card, all facts in this case shall      
  Field Days   be presented to the Team Captains involved, who in turn will discuss the facts with the Team      
    Information &   Major and the Rules Chair.  The latter two have the final decision.  Rule disputes must be    
    Winners   discussed in a polite, respectful manner.    
      6.  No Outside Agency shall be allowed presence during the matches (i.e., caddies, observers,     
      dogs, etc.).  If any such infraction occurs, the penalty shall be loss of points on all holes during      
  Minutes   which the infraction occurs.      
      7.  All matches shall be played on the scheduled date.  If a team forfeits any match in total, that      
      team shall be withdrawn from team play and all points scored by that team with all opponents      
      shall be cancelled.      
      8.  An ineligible player shall forfeit all her points earned in the matches, but not her partner's points      
      or the opponents' points.  She shall be ineligible for team play for the rest of the year.      
      9.  All players must use power golf carts on all course.      
      10.  Honors on the first tee shall be decided by means of a coin toss by the team captains and      
      thereafter the gross ball winner will have the honors.      
      11.  No practice shall be permitted during the match play round.  A player may not putt out after      
      the hole is won or conceded.      
      12.  If power carts are not allowed on the cart paths of the course, the match must be      
      rescheduled.  If rain commences after the matches have begun, the Hostess Captain may decide
