			The meeting was called to order at 9 a.m. by President Jan Chlebowski/ESC.
			Not in Attendance:  K. Cates/MR, L. Mollet/ML, S. Sommers/TO, D. Jessee/CC
			Minutes:  The minutes of the July 20 meting were approved as presented.

			Treasurer's Report:  Annette Antle/ELC emailed the treasurer's report - 7/1 thru 8/31/09.
	Member Clubs		Income:  $1,102.  Expenses: $973.  BofA Balance:  $7,765.  The PEN reserve has been
	& Information		finalized and is no longer owed.

			Field Day Report:  The count for the September 14 Field Day at Morgan Run is 22.
	Calendar
			President:  Jan Chlebowski/ESC announced it is time to appoint a nominating committee for
	Officers &		2010 officers - 1 rep fromeach club makes up the committee.  Nomination procedures are as
	Directors		stated in the SMWGA Bylaws - Article V, Items 5, 6, and 7.
			Checks for the Getaway will be due at the October board meeting - Scheduled for 9/21/09.
	Membership
	Information		1st Vice President:  Katie Maldonado/PEN will email the list of the 2010 board selected by
			the nominating committee.
	Team
	Information		Calendar Chair:  Joyce Goldman asked that clubs provide 2010 events calendars as soon as
	Eligibility List		they are available.
	By Laws &		Rules Chair:  Cyndy Simons/ELC cited a rule concerning playing a provisional when a ball is
	Standing Rules		lost or outside a water hazard - Rule 27.2
	Field Days		Membership Chair:  Linda Efflandt/LSM reported 2 new members and 3 renewing members:
	Information &		NEW:  Therese Tremblay/CC, Shirley Swadley/ESC
	Winners		RENEWING:  Victoria Poval/ELC, Connie Gates & Nancy Serigstad/LSM
			Web Master:The web site is being redesigned to be more user friendly and adaptable in 2010.
	Minutes
			Old Business:  Discussed - The Getaway:  Katie Maldonado/PEN and Jan Chlebowski/ESC
			addressed location, time of year, course restrictions.  One suggestion:  from Pam Estes/CC -
			swap Winner's Circle to November and move the Getaway to April.
			Annette Antle/ELC suggested there be no field days during team play.
			Kathy Dells/SLR announced that Fallbrook Golf Club has agreed to join SMWGA and that
			Temecula Creek is close.  Jan Chlebowski and Kathy Dells will again meet with Temecula
			Creek to confirm their decision.
			There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m.  The next meeting
			is on Wednesday, October 21 - the Lake San Marcos CC Trophy Room.  Checks for the
			Team Awards Field Day and the Getaway will be due at tha ttime
