			The meeting was called to order at 9 a.m. by Pam Estes/CC, President.

	Member Clubs
	& Information		TREASURER:  Cyndy Simons/ELC reported balance-4/30/2008=$8,191.67.  May 31, 2008
	Page 2		detail:  Income=$2,741; Expenses=$4,548.17.  Balance=$6,384.50.  PLGA Reserve=$392.97
	Calendar		FIELD DAYS:  Kathy Dells/SLR reported there are 56 players signed up to play at the SLR
			field day-Thursday, June 12.  Sheri McDaniel verified the price for the TO field day at $58.
	Officers &		Jan Salisbury/CC gave the details for the CC field day August 7, 2008:  Game tentatively 6/6/6.
	Directors		$56/player (Golf/Cart=$36, Lunch=$16, Sweeps=$4).  Final details to be reported at next mtg.
			June Boerrigter/ML asked for clarification on team play eligibility.  Any field day after the start
	Membership		of current year team play is applied to the following year's team eligibility tally.
	Information
			RULES:  Sue Hukari/SLR advised she reviewed the Rules portion of the USGA website
	Team		that addressed any changes in payouts for prizes.  While the limit on amounts for gifts such as
	Information		a car for hole-in-one., etc., has gone up for inflation, there is still no allowance for cash prizes.
	Eligibility List
			TROPHY:  Kathy Cates/MR thanked Judy Welker/PEN for informing the board by email that,
	By Laws &		in fact, Bed, Bath and Beyond is not on the list of those stores filing for bankruptcy.
	Standing Rules
			MEMBERSHIP:  Linda Efflandt/LSM reported five (5) new members:  LSM:  Marie Weber,
	Field Days		Barbara Reiland.  MR:  Denean Rivera.  ELC:  Johnna Tomke.  ML:  Michelle Carter (Renewing)
	Information &
	Winners		WEBMASTER:  Joyce Goldman/LSM reported the website domain registration has been paid.
			The $95 fee covers 5 years (6/3/2008-6/2/12) of registration and website hosting.
	Minutes		TEAM MAJOR:  Maggie Brown/ESC has distributed the scorecard stock to all team captains.
			Team play will begin Monday, July 28 at MR.
			OLD BUSINESS:  Pam Estes/CC stated that the game for the Getaway has nto been finalized,
			but will most likely be an individual eclectic.  She suggeted that perhaps groups may choose
			their own 4somes or 2somes if they wish, and those who do not want to do this will be paired
			with a group selected by the Committee.  Both days of play will be a combination
			of the same two nines.  Sign up sheets will be out by July, with entry fees due in September.
			There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:50 a.m.  The next meeting
			is Wednesday, July 9, in the LSM Trophy Room.  Checks for the TO field day will be due at
			that time.
