| The Santa Margarita Women's Golf Association (SMWGA) fields teams | ||||||
| consisting of players from the 11 member clubs. The Team Calendar Year is | ||||||
| HOME | defined as July 1 of the preceding year until June 30 of the team play year. | |||||
| MEMBER CLUBS | ELIGIBILITY: | |||||
| CALENDAR | To be eligible for SMWGA team play, a player must: | |||||
| 1. Be a paid member of her declared home club. | ||||||
| FIELD DAYS | 2. Possess a valid USGA handicap and play to a maximum index of 40.4. | |||||
| 3. Have played in six (6) competitive rounds sponsored by the women's golf club of her declared SMWGA home course in the | ||||||
| OFFICERS & | Team Calendar Year of July 1 through June 30 preceding the scheduled team play. Games must be posted within one (1) week | |||||
| DIRECTORS | of the date played. | |||||
| EXCEPTION: Any new member (a woman who has not been a member of SMWGA for the past two (2) years), | ||||||
| MEMBERSHIP | who joins after January 1 may qualify for team having posted on GHIN only three (3) competitive | |||||
| rounds (women only events) sponsored by the women's golf club at her declared SMWGA home club. | ||||||
| TEAM | 4. Have played one (1) SMWGA Field Day in the Team Calendar Year of July 1 through June 30, | |||||
| excluding the field day on her declared home course. | ||||||
| BYLAWS & | 5. Be a member of Santa Margarita prior to playing the six (6) qualifying Women's Day games. | |||||
